Troubleshooting Your LG Appliances
Of course, you do not have to do the troubleshooting yourself – you can always call us and we will send you a certified technician who will diagnose your appliance for you. We do understand, however, that many our clients would prefer to have a ballpark estimate of what kind of problem are they dealing with beforehand.
First of all, we would suggest to call a gas company in case you have a gas appliance (range, or a dryer) and you smell gas. We will be able to repair your appliance, but we have to be sure that the leak is coming from the inside of the appliance, and not from the piping.
Second of all, if your appliance doesn’t work at all it always make sense to check the power cord. Sometimes you may find out that the cord was disconnected without your knowledge. Rather often, however, you may also encounter a problem in the outlet itself. Check the breakers, make sure the circuit hasn’t been tripped by a power surge. If you have doubts regarding a specific outlet, try plugging different appliances in it and see if they work properly.
