Two brothers learned business from their father, Stanley M. Joseph, a well-known entrepreneur, who was a co-founded of a small appliances company Stanthony Corporation. Stanley Joseph’s grandson, Stephen, became Dacor’s president in 2011. In 2016 the company announced its acquisition by Samsung Electronics America. Nowadays, the company positions itself as one of the leaders in the ultra-premium kitchen appliances market.

Dacor offers two collections – Modernist and Heritage. The difference between the appliances are not simply visual, different collections offer different philosophy and a different set of appliances.
